My plus size sweatshirt shrank on me! Yikes, luckily it was okay in this circumstance. I bought a sweatshirt, and I go between two sizes, so I bought the bigger size, just in case. It was huge, and swimming on me. (that in itself is a rarity!) I pop it into the wash, and it totally shrank! I hate that….in this case, it was okay, but I wanted it to fit like when I bought it. Let me explain, I actually bought two plus size sweatshirts…one in size. 
I wanted one to be super baggy for jammies, and the other to be a good fit for going out in.
Turns out the super baggy one will fit normal now, and the one that fit okay will end up “just fitting”. Blah…
Why, oh why must clothing shrink so much. Seriously, I’m aware of shrinkage, but somethings take on a life of their own and shrink like CRAZY!
I fell in love with the sweatshirt the first time I wore it, so ran back to buy another. It has a partial zipper, so it’s not snug around your neck…it’s a hoodie, and I loved the color combination and look. Guess the joke was on me…I should have stuck with just one. Live and learn my friends, live and learn!
