I have big chubby boobs. I don’t tell you this to be dirty…I tell you this because I had to get a mammogram and an ultrasound this week. Yeah, not a pretty site, whipping the girls out in the middle of a stark office and having the nurse lift and mold your breast onto the cold slab of metal.
I was recently over looking at the website FluffyAndProud.com which was brought to my attention. I really enjoyed their hall of fame…I wanted to wish the girls over there the best of luck as they continue their online journey. In the spirit of their quotes, jokes and more pages, I have a favorite poem that I’ve always loved. It’s called Phenomenal Woman by Maya Angelou and fits quite well with my site. I hope you’ll enjoy it, and if there are some Phenomenal Woman who would enjoy this, make sure they get the chance to see it as well….It’s a poem I read years ago, and I carry it inside me…share it with a plus size Phenomenal Woman today.
I flew down to Florida with my sister this week. We had a blast! It was absolutely relaxing, wonderful and a sack of bean, ya know? The whole works…
Excuse my language. I need to talk about my big chubby ass for a few moments….you see, it’s wide, and big. My fear is that it will get bigger. No, no– let me explain.
It can be depressing when your plus size. Shopping center dressing rooms are the pits….I went to Fashion Bug last week, and I brought about 10 things in with me. Oh my gosh, it was depressing. The thing is, I had some really cute stuff that looked great on the hanger, but transferred onto my frame, and I wasn’t as excited. I walked out with one blouse.
Looking for some plus size stores? Check out this list. When it comes to online shopping, there’s a large assortment of stores for plus size women. The only problem for me is that I prefer to try on a lot of clothing before buying it. I vary in size based on the cut sometimes.
That’s right, I’m all ready in plus size swimsuits, and yet for some reason, we have tons of chocolate in the house. Where did it all come from? The holidays seem to relate to food quite often. Cookies, cakes, chocolate, goodies, you name it. Let alone the carb heavy mashed potatoes, stuff and more. Dear goodness, you’ll have to roll me out of my house when January comes around
My plus size sweatshirt shrank on me! Yikes, luckily it was okay in this circumstance. I bought a sweatshirt, and I go between two sizes, so I bought the bigger size, just in case. It was huge, and swimming on me. (that in itself is a rarity!) I pop it into the wash, and it totally shrank! I hate that….in this case, it was okay, but I wanted it to fit like when I bought it. Let me explain, I actually bought two plus size sweatshirts…one in size. 
I wanted one to be super baggy for jammies, and the other to be a good fit for going out in.
I went to Disney World last week on a spontaneous vacation with my son. We had a blast, and one of the things I wanted to mention is how they are accommodating to even plus size patrons. I love that there’s extra room in the seats, and that I’m able to ride all the rides comfortably. Disney rocks in this fashion. I was able to go on rollercoasters and pull harnesses down, strap seat belts, and other things on different rides. The point is…I fit…comfortably.
