It can be depressing when your plus size. Shopping center dressing rooms are the pits….I went to Fashion Bug last week, and I brought about 10 things in with me. Oh my gosh, it was depressing. The thing is, I had some really cute stuff that looked great on the hanger, but transferred onto my frame, and I wasn’t as excited. I walked out with one blouse.
That’s right, I’m all ready in plus size swimsuits, and yet for some reason, we have tons of chocolate in the house. Where did it all come from? The holidays seem to relate to food quite often. Cookies, cakes, chocolate, goodies, you name it. Let alone the carb heavy mashed potatoes, stuff and more. Dear goodness, you’ll have to roll me out of my house when January comes around
My plus size sweatshirt shrank on me! Yikes, luckily it was okay in this circumstance. I bought a sweatshirt, and I go between two sizes, so I bought the bigger size, just in case. It was huge, and swimming on me. (that in itself is a rarity!) I pop it into the wash, and it totally shrank! I hate that….in this case, it was okay, but I wanted it to fit like when I bought it. Let me explain, I actually bought two plus size sweatshirts…one in size. 
I wanted one to be super baggy for jammies, and the other to be a good fit for going out in.
My plus size jeans are getting too tight. I refuse to go up yet another size. Let’s be honest, my ass is spreading. Okay, well…if you want honest my thighs are spreading too. Oh my gosh, that almost sounds dirty! hehehe…sorry about that.
Wearing large size clothing, does it matter more to you or the people around you? You know what I did the other day, I cut the damn tag out of my new coat. Know why? I didn’t want to see it…
Secret Solutions are like Spanx for plus-size women. I stumbled upon these while paging through my Woman Within catalog the other day. I love that there’s a plus-size version made only for us. That means it’s not another manufacturer just “upping” the size dimensions on their regular sizes, but a company who understands that are curves are a little fuller.
I wear plus size underwear. Conjures up sexy images doesn’t it? On the other hand, my sister wears what appears to be dental floss for underwear. We were hanging out together one day, and I was helping her out by switching her laundry over. She yelled out to me, “My underwear air dries, don’t put that in the dryer!”

I have a huge collection of handbags and sunglasses that I consider part of my plus size accessories. Let me be brutally honest, being overweight can be downright depressing sometimes in the fitting room. On those days when I can’t find a fabulous fashion to caress my extra curves, I opt for a new handbag or great sunglasses. You know what, they come in one size fits all.
