I was in search of some shoes today. Let me start off by telling you why…I generally use my Crocs (flip-flops) in the summer for darn near everything. I love them because no matter how much my feet swell, I’m comfortable. Last night, we went out for the night, and I needed some dressier shoes, because I wasn’t familiar with the venue we were going to. I didn’t want to just try to squeeze by with flip-flops of course, and my black shoes I used to rely on weren’t fitting so well anymore.

Not many plus size clothing stores in this vacation spot. I’m on vacation this week, and on the entire island, there are only 2 small places that cater to plus size women. One doesn’t exactly cater to us, there’s a small section politely tucked in the back of the store, but at least they have sizes up to 3x, which is more than most the stores here have.

Looking for some plus size stores? Check out this list. When it comes to online shopping, there’s a large assortment of stores for plus size women. The only problem for me is that I prefer to try on a lot of clothing before buying it. I vary in size based on the cut sometimes.

Plus size shoes sounds funny doesn’t it?

Wide shoes is what most people say, but let me spell it out for you. My feet swell on top, as well as the side, and I need shoes that were made for me! One of the beefs I have is finding boots that fit over my calves comfortably.
