What is a plus size accessory you ask?
I have a huge collection of handbags and sunglasses that I consider part of my plus size accessories. Let me be brutally honest, being overweight can be downright depressing sometimes in the fitting room. On those days when I can’t find a fabulous fashion to caress my extra curves, I opt for a new handbag or great sunglasses. You know what, they come in one size fits all.
I need fashionable plus size clothing; I’m having an ULTRA fat day. Don’t tell my husband I need new clothes. He’ll look at my closet bursting with clothing and tell me I’m overreacting. Overreacting? Oh please!
I’m sitting here at a conference, and one of the things that I notice is how close the chairs are together. If you don’t fit the standard size of person, you need an end to be comfortable. I’m straddling at the end, with one leg under the table, and yet anotehr around it.

I used to hate shopping for big sizes. Womens clothes in big sizes at least have gotten so much better. Remember when they would all be t-shirt material with big bold patterns or flowers on them? We used to have one designated rack, but thankfully now we get entire stores and sections. Big clothing for women, ha…it makes it sound like a tent. Okay, I guess I should be saying plus size, which I usually do, but sometimes I like to play with words. Isn’t it funny how one word changes the entire feel. Big size versus plus size….I’ll take that pretty plus word!
Seeing my thighs or belly grow…equals growing pains!
I was listening to a talk show yesterday, and the host mentioned something about extra payments clients will have to make on health care costs for being overweight. It came down to something like $25 extra a month if you weighed over a certain amount. They were discussing the ins and outs, the fair, the unfair, but relying heavily on the argument that fat people are lazy.
Some people “live large”…I just “live larger”.
